TwitchCon

Every year, the streaming platform Twitch holds their own convention. A dedicated space for streamers to meet their peers and fans, and for watchers to find the communities around their favourite streamer. In 2024, TwitchCon was held at San Diego, California. TwitchCon Europe was held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

As someone who had been watching Twitch for years, I was excited to assist on the motion design for 2024’s EU and US TwitchCons. I used existing assets from Twitch’s brand guidelines to work on promotional material leading up to the event, alongside adjusting for that year’s line-up to be displayed across the event venue and stream overlays. This included making full screen and bumper nametags for all speakers, schedule screens, transition animations and added animations to be shown on multiple screens.
